Penn State football facilities to potentially undergo $92 million in renovations | Penn State Football News

Penn State football could be moving forward with more than $90 million in facility renovations if they’re approved at the May 5 Board of Trustees meeting.

The plan includes a $70 million renovation on the first phase of renovations for Beaver Stadium, as well as a $22 million “Phase 2” renovation on the Lasch Building, which was recently overhauled to include a state-of-the-art weight room among other amenities.

Austin city officials on Wednesday broke ground on the reconstruction of a joint fire and EMS station on East Riverside Drive.

The station, at 5309 E. Riverside Drive, is one of several that have been prioritized for renovations as part of the city’s goal to meet quick response times.

The goal: First responders should arrive within eight minutes of a call being received 90% of the time. That is consistent with the national standards set by the Commission of Fire Accreditation International and the National Fire Protection Association, the city said.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Domantas Sabonis made two free throws with seven seconds left to cap a near-triple double in the Sacramento Kings’ 128-127 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.
