When it comes to new picture books to look out for, hands down Owlet Press has it covered. From all the cuteness, to stories that empower and encourage little ones, it’s there. And of course they are going to be packaged beautifully by some of the most fantastic and current illustrators. Yay! *Did you know that Davide Ortu who illustrated the Owlet Press The Tooth Fairy series was also THE illustrator for Carrie Hope Fletcher’s Double Trouble Society *mind blown! So anyway, this is what you have to look forward to!

It’s been sooooo hard not to have a gigantic fun-suckery face *permanently etched – at the moment.

As you might already know, the little broke her leg in pe at school and this has put a huge stop on everything. Our Strictly Dancing tour tickets had to be given away back in February. Half term was spent at the hospital as surgery was needed on said leg. And, no tickets AT ALL for either Lizzo or Ed Sheeran concerts could be bought. This was especially hard on the little ones as she adores them both

What DID people wear in the 1700’s? Do we even know? The answer is YES! We actually know quite a lot about what our forefolk (forefathers and foremothers) were wearing.

Colonial clothing is interesting. It is fashionable and functional. What’s interesting is that different social status is displayed not in different fashion choices but the quality of the fabric.
