SMCH Auxiliary presents 3rd donation for Putting People First Renovation Project | News

Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) Auxiliary recently presented a donation of $50,000 to the hospital for its ongoing renovations. In 2020, the Putting People First Expansion and Renovation Project campaign received a pledge gift from the Auxiliary totaling $250,000 for the renovation of the new Heart Strings Gift Shoppe. This most recent donation marks the third installment of that pledge, having paid $150,000 thus far.

Tim Allen denies exposing himself to Pamela Anderson

Tim Allen has denied Pamela Anderson’s allegation that he exposed himself to her on the set of “Home Improvement” when she was 23 and he was 37.

The “Toy Story” actor who was raised in Michigan denied Anderson’s account Sunday in a statement to Variety, which published an excerpt from the “Baywatch” star’s forthcoming memoir detailing the alleged encounter.

Renovations at the 19th Street BART station in Oakland are complete, and while the Uptown unveiling made for a nice photo opportunity for transit leaders and local politicians, the representative most likely to face questions about her future wasn’t eager to provide answers just yet.

At a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday, BART officially unveiled the improved station, now boasting brighter lighting, remodeled restrooms, new railings and installations by local artists. Nearly a dozen officials were at the event, including newly elected Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao, State Sen. Nancy Skinner and US Rep. Barbara Lee of Oakland.
